As the final evolution of the R107 series, the 560 SL represents the pinnacle of the range. Reserved for the North American, Australian, and Japanese markets, it is powered by the 5.6-liter V8—the largest engine ever fitted to an SL of this generation.

This specific car is an original US-spec model, finished in Astral Silver Metallic with a Garnet leather interior and a black soft top. An independent inspection has confirmed the vehicle is in excellent condition, showing no signs of previous repairs or corrosion on either the undercarriage or the bodywork.

Mechanicals:
It features the original Mercedes 5.6-liter V8 engine paired with an automatic transmission. The engine runs smoothly without any abnormal noise, whether idling or under acceleration. The automatic transmission was rebuilt by Mercedes Monaco (SAMGF), which also replaced the brake hoses and performed a major engine service. The steering shows no abnormal play, the suspension and running gear are in good condition, the front lower control arms are new, and the exhaust system is sound. The car is up to date on maintenance and ready for the road.

Interior:
The cabin features the original Garnet leather, which remains in good condition, as do the carpets, center console, and dashboard. The car retains its full original equipment: automatic climate control, power antenna, anti-theft alarm system, folding front armrest, sun visors with illuminated vanity mirrors, outside temperature gauge, and driver's airbag. All dashboard gauges and instruments function perfectly. Exterior:
The bodywork, finished in Ash Silver metallic, is in very good condition; a repaint was noted during the vehicle inspection. It sits on chrome alloy wheels. The headlights are new, genuine Mercedes parts converted to European specifications—a feature that immediately distinguishes this car from US versions that retained their original configuration. The vehicle features heat-insulating glass all around, including a heated rear window and a laminated windshield with a tinted sunband. The car comes with a black soft top in good condition and a hard top (including its interior trim) that has been very well preserved.
