MARTIN Roadster Seven GM2
Motors Corner is pleased to present this Martin Roadster, the French answer to the Lotus Super Seven and Caterham. Designed by Martin Production—a company based in the Vendée region—the Roadster was launched in 1986, following the tradition of lightweight, tubular-chassis roadsters. It was originally sold as a self-assembly kit.
This 1994 example comes with its original documentation file, including correspondence from the manufacturer and GM2 kit literature.
Mechanical Condition
The car is powered by a Ford Zetec inline-4 engine, fed by a new Weber carburetor, producing 115 horsepower. It sits in a tubular chassis with a dry weight of approximately 640 kg. The car has just undergone a major service: all fuel lines and the carburetor have been replaced, and all four tires are new. It features a manual transmission. The odometer reads 36,100 km.
Interior Condition
The cockpit features a racing-inspired style: two bottle-green leather bucket seats, yellow 4-point harnesses, a new MOMO quick-release sports steering wheel, and a dashboard equipped with round analog gauges.
